The Line

i think the line is under appreciated. yes it is boring majority of the times but without the line we couldn't make the illusion of distance depth height or shape on paper. but making a few lines into a work of art? that is just plain stupidity. its like a mom gives the birth and only raises the kid till they can walk eat and clean after themselves and says okay time for you to get an apartment. i hate seeing pieces of art like that selling for millions of dollars when it only takes 15 minutes maybe less to draw it. then pieces that an artist puts days of effort only sell for a mere 200 - 400 dollars. maybe the audience has become more remedial since the renaissance. I'm still amazed at how michaelangelo, rafael, leornado, donatello did their pieces. i wish they were alive to put down these sloths who call themselves artist. the line is only the foundation to a great art piece. not the whole piece itself.

What is Art?

many people believe art is what the audience believes. others believe art is only art if it is beautiful. but then what is beautiful. models are portrayed as gorgeous but not many people know they are only gorgeous because they are so symmetrical in facial features. some people say they are hideous...a freak of nature. in my 18 years of life, my perception of beautiful and art has changed and for right now at this moment my definition of art is a compounds of mediums comprised together by an individual whose soul is not at peace or is not in a state of homeostasis. there are piece of art that are based on the expression of happiness but then again the artist is not at a normal stasis... not his or hers homeostasis. i do guarantee sometime in the future my own definition of art/ beautiful will change. ill bet everything i have it will change and yes I'm sorry to all my readers i will eventually contradict myself and make a fool of myself but remember the blog is for the audience to empathize with me and try to see art as i do and to share your own thoughts with me. so i will end this post as a rough draft. a basic idea that is incomplete. because i still have not been able to make a definition for beautiful to put me in my homeostasis.... till next post
